Silver Park Studio · Identity
Frame the work.
Build what lasts.
How the identity is applied on this site
The design system is the source. This page is the applied subset — what actually ships here, measured, and what the build refuses to let drift.
The meaning
One frame. Everything inside it. Films, photographs, production software and ventures all start the same way: deciding what goes inside the frame. The four corners are a camera viewfinder. To an engineer they are also the brackets that hold code. They make one shape for both halves of the work.
The Signal is the square at the centre, the record light. It stands for the work and the person it serves. It is the only warm colour in the brand and appears once on any surface. The name is set heavy and wide, like a credit on a title card; STUDIO sits under it on a single rule, as quiet as a slate.
Logo
Four pieces of artwork, always supplied as files and never retyped. The primary lockup for covers and title cards; the horizontal for the nav, signatures and headers; the symbol for icons and avatars; the wordmark, with the Signal as a full stop, for anything tiny or busy. Ink artwork on light grounds, mist on dark. The horizontal is never shorter than 32px, which keeps STUDIO’s capitals above 6px. “LLC” appears in legal lines only, never in the mark.
Brand kit
Upload-ready PNGs rendered from the supplied artwork, for the accounts and profiles the studio keeps elsewhere.
- Avatar · Night — Profile photos: GitHub, Google, Gumroad, Reddit, LinkedIn page, Vimeo. Safe inside a circle crop.
- Avatar · Stone — The light alternative, where a dark tile would clash.
- Primary lockup · Night — Covers, title cards, Drive and Workspace headers.
- Primary lockup · Stone — The same on the light ground.
- LinkedIn banner — 1584 × 396. The mark sits right, clear of the profile photo.
- Header · 1500 × 500 — X, Reddit and other 3:1 headers.
- Channel art · 2560 × 1440 — Vimeo and YouTube; the mark sits in the safe area.
- Share card · 1200 × 630 — Link previews and social posts.
- Workspace logo · 320 × 132 — Google Workspace admin logo, transparent.
- Email signature · 440 wide — Shown at 220px wide in a signature; 2× for sharp screens.
Colour
No pure black, no pure white. Stone grounds, Ink speaks, colour is rationed: 60 / 30 / 10. Every figure below is measured against the ground it lands on.

It is never set as text: it measures 2.88:1 on Stone. Ink on Signal measures 5.37:1, which is why the primary button's label is Night, not white.
One correction to the tokens. The supplied light-theme --tx3,
#6C746F, measures 4.04:1 on Stone and 3.72:1 on the sunk panel, under the 4.5 AA asks
of body text. This site uses #5F6662, the nearest value on the same hue that clears
4.5 on every light ground. The dark theme needs no correction.
Status as text. The status colours are lights, AA as fills but not as body text
on the light grounds: Ready is 4.23:1 on Stone and Attention 3.06:1. Where a status is written
as words in the light theme, this site uses #286E48 and #8C5C17, the
same hues at 5.17 and 4.82.
Type
Two voices. Archivo at 118% width speaks: 700–760, uppercase, the name and headlines. Hanken Grotesk reads: 400 and 500 at 16px on a 1.618 leading. Geist Mono only for data — timecodes, figures, specs. Silverman Hand is the signature, once.

Space, shape, motion
Space steps on Fibonacci. Layouts split 61.8 / 38.2 inside 1200px. Corners are
square and nothing casts a shadow. Motion eases on cubic-bezier(.22,.61,.36,1) over
.146, .236, .382 or .618 seconds, and the symbol's lock-in — the four corners closing on
the Signal — plays once per visit.
Themes
Light is the default: Stone ground, Ink type. Dark is one click away, remembered, and applied before first paint. There is no accent choice — the palette has one accent, and it is rationed rather than chosen.
The home page's hero is Night in both themes. It carries a photograph, and imagery sits at
rest in warm monochrome — grayscale(1) sepia(.08) — until you reach
for it.
What the build enforces
- One source of tokens.
css/brand.cssowns every colour, type, space and motion token; the two site sheets may not redefine one, and their shared site-only block may not diverge. - Nothing retired comes back. The build fails on the retired typefaces or the old gold and green anywhere in a published page or stylesheet.
- Every local reference must resolve — including
data-full, which once shipped seven broken lightbox photos past a gate that only read href. - Changed assets get new URLs. Images take a new base name; CSS, JS and PDFs carry a content hash. Everything is cached immutably for a year.
- Nothing private ships. Fifteen patterns scanned across every page.
